Behind the #PBCHOOPSTOP5 12/17/17 and Week 4 preview

#pbchoops Top 5 Week ending 12/17/17
1. Wellington
2. Dwyer
3. Lake Worth
4. Suncoast
5. Benjamin

No changes this week, even though the top 5 teams each had hard fought victories. It's a light schedule heading into the holiday, just a couple games on tap. Here's a recap of last week:

#1 Wellington - Wellington is still #1 after 3 victories last week over Palm Beach Gardens, Pahokee and Seminole Ridge. This week they face Royal Palm Beach before participating in the Palm Beach Shoot Out and Rock Holiday Classic over the break.

#2 Dwyer - Dwyer is still undefeated and posted another strong week including a big time win over a tough Martin County squad in OT. This week they head to the Deland Holiday Tournament with a good mix of programs, including Dr Phillips out of Orlando.

#3 Lake Worth - Lake Worth went 3-0 to stay undefeated. The Trojans have played arguably the toughest schedules to start off the season. The test continue as they travel to Tallahassee to compete in the Capital City Classic.

#4 Suncoast - Suncoast had a tough back to back Friday and Saturday, defeating Palm Beach Lakes and Inlet Grove. The Chargers won both games and continue to impress along the way. They will be back in action after the Christmas holiday.

#5 Benjamin - Benjamin's win over John Carroll kept them perfect on the season as they head into the holiday tournament season.

Look for teams to be tested starting next week as holiday tournament play begins. Competition will be tough, any slip ups could cause a change in the rankings.

Week 4 Preview

Friday December 22, 2017

John I Leonard vs Forest Hill
Forest Hill is undefeated and has not really been tested all season. John I should provide that test. Look for a highly competitive game between 2 under the radar teams.
