#pbchoopstop5

#1 Boca Raton - Boca started off the week in a highly anticipated match-up vs Lake Worth and their senior scorer Kaira Felder. While Felder impressed with 23 points in the loss to a better team, Grace Marko was equally as impressive scoring 30 points on 6/6 from the 3-point line. The Lady Bobcats finished their week in Washington, DC at the She Got Game Classic where they went 1-1, losing their game Sunday while not having Marko after the 1st quarter do to any injury that kept her out the remainder of the game.

#2 Oxbridge Academy - Oxbridge hit the road last week playing some of the better teams down south, coming home with victories against Gulliver Prep and American Heritage-Plantation before finishing up the week at home with King's Academy, all victories. This week they will be in Boca at the St Andrew's Holiday Classic

#3 Palm Beach Lakes - The Lady Rams stay solid at #3 with dominant victories over Forest Hill and Boynton. This week the competition ramps up again with visits to Dwyer and Suncoast.

#4 Wellington - Wellington went 3-0 last week with a very competitive win against then #5 Palm Beach Gardens on Thursday. This week they face a John I team on a roll.

#5 West Boca Raton - West Boca was on a roll last week with impressive victories which pushed them back into the Top 5

Week 5 Preview

Palm Beach Gardens vs Suncoast Tue Dec 13th: Should be a high level game and a fun one to watch too. No district implications but a quality match-up of 2 very good teams.

#4 Wellington vs John I Leonard Thur Dec 15th: Wellington has had it's share of tough games so far this season, John I has showed the ability to play with all the top teams.

#3 Palm Beach Lakes vs Suncoast Sat Dec 17th: Suncoast has been on a roll but this will be the 2nd of 2 tough test this week.

There are quite a few teams in wings waiting for a slip up in the Top 5. St Andrews, Suncoast, Dwyer, Gardens and Grandview all have solid teams and have been quietly stringing together wins. The next few weeks will be interesting on the girls side as teams from in and out of the #PBCHOOPS Girls Top 5 face each other.
